J.E. Miller & Associates is owned and operated by Joseph E. Miller. Joseph began drafting at the age of  15 and surveying in the field at the age of 18. In the year 1987, he earned his Professional Land Surveyors license, PLS 5803. Joseph continues to work in the field today while leading the company.

Survey Crew

Party Chief Ernie Alvarado has been surveying under Joseph for over 20 years and executes the firm’s construction staking operations. Broc Miller is a chainman, party chief, and draftsman for J.E. Miller & Associates and recently earned his Land Surveyor-In-Training certificate, LSIT 7506. He plans on graduating from Santiago Canyon College in 2009 with an Associates Degree in Land Surveying.

Office Staff

Shelly Jones manages all surveying and engineering projects. She graduated from California Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2004. In January of 2008 she earned her Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering license, RCE 72398. In 2010 she earned her Professional Land Surveyor's license, PLS 8763. Shelly has well developed surveying knowledge and continues to enhance her skills in engineering daily. Robert Perea performs drafting and design services and also offers Spanish translation skills.
